Congratulations on your new build. With the excitement of the build, it is important not to overlook lighting design.
The best time to arrange lighting design is before the electrician has started work. Using your house plan, we can enhance the architecture of your new build and cater the lighting to your lifestyle.
To get the most out of your lighting design, please supply:
- A copy of the plans (including elevations)
- Any furniture layouts you had in mind
- An idea of your style and preferred fittings (our lighting designer can help refine this)
If the electrician has already provided an electrical plan and completed the pre-wire, K&M Electrical can still assist with the fitting selection. A simple change in fittings can have a dramatic effect on the final result.
Lighting design for renovations
Renovations are truly a labour of love. With all of the effort put into your abode, why leave the ineffective or outdated lighting of yesteryear?
K&M Electrical will come to your home for a consultation and measure up. We will discuss your renovation goals, planned layout and your personal style. From this, a lighting plan with fittings is created.
The final plan is trade-ready for your electrician and builder to implement. This plan is to be presented before the pre-wire.
